Mystery Sega franchise heads to PSP

Lawrence Holland, president of Totally Games, has announced that his developer team is working on a new PSP title based on a classic Sega franchise. While Holland was unwilling to disclose the name of this franchise, he did say, "[The game is a] run and gun blast-a-thon... Drawing its inspiration from such timeless arcade classics as Robotron and Smash TV." Hmmm... what series could that be?
