F.E.A.R. sequel in the works for PC & next-gen consoles

Monolith has revealed that a
F.E.A.R. sequel will soon be underway for the PC and multiple next-gen consoles. However, since Vivendi Universal owns the F.E.A.R. name (Monolith only owns the rights to the game's characters), the sequel will use a new, to-be-announced title. We can expect the sequel to debut on the PC, followed by a version tweaked for next-gen consoles—Monolith did not specify which consoles. Monolith is currently hiring for the project.

In an interesting twist, Vivendi can still exploit the F.E.A.R. name. Is an Xbox 360 F.E.A.R.
port in the works? Monolith certainly made no mention of it.
