VR goggles + robot plane: only the beginning

Basic, but cool: VR goggles receive wireless feed of plane-mounted camera. Man moves head, camera on plane moves to change the view. Effect: it's like you're really up there swooping around like a bird. And yet, not good enough...

We hereby request the following enhancements to satisfy the gamer in all of us:

  • wing-mounted EMP cannon
  • heads-up display with targeting system that tracks opponents in vicinity, to enable more intense dogfights
  • worldwide, realtime leaderboards to track win-loss record of air combatants
  • donuts and beer for the winners
