How much is that Zergling in the window?
There are some excellent pictoral guides to hunter pets out there, including Petopia and TKA Something. Now, at last, non-combat pets (the little ones that run after you and give away stealthed rogues) have their own beautiful, comprehensive site. Warcraftpets.com lists just about everything you need to know about small pets and how to get them. It's also filled with lots of little informative tidbits. For example, did you know:
- You can actually keep the whistle that you're given in Orphan's Week to summon your child year-round? I turned mine in just because I felt so bad about dragging my kid through Molten Core.
- No non-combat pets give you buffs, but the Disgusting Oozeling gives you a debuff of -20 defense and all resistances?
- With enough snowballs, you can constantly have a small female gnome slave in a Santa costume follow you around? That's got to be someone's fantasy.
- The panda cub's idle animation is curling up and falling asleep, while Murky the Murloc dances with a top hat and cane when he's idle?
Breanni, the gnome who created the site, is pretty proud of it, and in fact has funny comments for each of the little pets. So if you want a spider, cupid or gnome slave, hop on over and check it out!
