So, how long as the DS been on the market? Just a few months over 2 years, right? Well, in that amount of time, the little handheld that could has sold over 40 million units worldwide, making it the fastest-selling game system of all time. Comparing it to some other heavy hitters, like the Playstation 2 and the company's own incredibly-successful GBA, the DS is in a class all its own.
