VC Monday Madness: Space Invaders and Forgotten Worlds

Oh, what, you thought you were off the hook this week? No way, as we're here with our latest VC Monday Madness video. Late, but here nonetheless. This week, we've got two different games to download on the Virtual Console, so hit up the video above and then cruise past the break for the rest.

Space Invaders: The Original Game (SNES, 1-2 players, 800 Wii Points)
Wii Fanboy says: do not download

So, all you're really going to get here is the classic Space Invaders game. The original game is great, don't get me wrong, but it's hardly worth $8. Do yourself a favor and use that $8 towards a better version of the game, like Space Invaders Extreme. Or, you know, play it for free in your browser over the internet.


Forgotten Worlds (Genesis, 1-2 players, 800 Wii Points)
Wii Fanboy says: do not download

It's not that Forgotten Worlds is a bad game, it's just that the Virtual Console is so over-saturated with entries in the shmup genre. Add that it's incredibly difficult and you get an experience that isn't worth your $8. Skip this one.
