Free Realms available to Mac users later this fall

Sony Online Entertainment is opening the doors to even more Free Realms players later this year with the release of Free Realms Mac.

While there's not a specific date for launch on this new platform, it's definitely going to happen in 2010 — "later this fall," specifically. SOE's president John Smedley expects an enthusiastic response: "There is no denying the overwhelming player demand for Free Realms on the Mac platform."

Free Realms Mac users will be integrated into the same servers, community forums, and marketplace as the current community. Keep an eye on the Free Realms site for more details as release time approaches.
