Apple says only 9 customers have complained about bent iPhones
Jon Fort of CNBC is reporting that Apple has responded to inquires regarding all those reports of people forcefully — and accidentally — bending their iPhone 6 Plus models. As one might expect, the story — which has needlessly taken on a life of its own — is overblown.
According to Apple, only 9 customers have thus far complained about bent iPhones. And considering that Apple has already sold well over 10 million units, it's fair to say that "bendgate" will be forgotten as quickly as it emerged.

And besides, people should remember that iPhones aren't indestructible. They're subject to the same limitations as any other product on the planet. Lastly, we're not trying to say that Apple is always blameless. On the contrary, the embarrassingly buggy release of iOS 8.0.1 and the recently reported security vulnerabilities in iOS prove otherwise.
