In 1978 I learned that computers weren't for me. I sat next to a friend in his programming class completely befuddled by command lines and strings of letters I couldn't begin to unravel. Sometime during 1990, another friend coming back from Drexel got to bring a Macintosh Portable home for the summer. I was hooked. The sleek design (not), GUI interface and trackball was all I needed to see to want one. All I had to do was learn the elegant and clickable Mac interface and the rest was history! I've been a relatively objective Mac fan since then. I have owned more Apple products than I'd like my wife to know about over the past twenty-five years and my kids are all avid Mac users. My screen name - rixmac.
